About Minoo

High school, undergraduate, or graduate school, whenever I was offered the choice between a test or a paper, I always choose writing a paper! Writer & humanities mind by training and by trade, I enjoy teaching as I was a former professor for six years. I taught at the best DC universities for 6 years, George Washington University, American University, and Georgetown University.

I started teaching as a summer job in high school and continued through my twenties and early thirties. I have experience teaching all ages, as young as 13 and as old as 60.

While I'm a good writer myself, I do have anxiety about other things. I understand the frustration that comes from not being able to write and how that anxiety can make any assignment harder. In graduate school, I chose the thesis pass for my Master's degree. I started a writing circle for other thesis writers like myself. I have an academic mind and I can guide you if that's the path you're on right now.

About the lesson

If you're staring at a blank page, or you have something written but it doesn't make sense to you, or any other stage of the process to produce an essay, my method and teaching style will get you to the finish line--and relieve any anxiety.

From 9th grade to Master's thesis, I have experience running writing centers and/or tutoring. I understand what goes on with writer's anxiety. I also aim to teach you a method you can apply repeatedly to all your assignments.
