About Michael
I am a professional actor who graduated from the BA Acting course at East 15 - Since graduating I have performed in immersive theatre shows and run workshops for children and teenagers.
When applying for drama school I had the benefit of one to one tutoring with professional actors when I was auditioning and I know how useful this can be.

My methodology is all about getting the piece on its feet!
Too many people spend too long analysing and studying a piece of text, planning out every moment and thought change, to the point that it can become stale. And although it is very important, In my lessons we will be focusing on getting the piece(s) on their feet as soon as possible and workshopping it practically. I am a big advocate of improvisation and we will use various improvisation techniques to bring out the character and then we will then be performing and re-working the piece(s).
My main aim of the lesson is to create a relaxed environment where you have fun and feel no pressure.
I will draw on my training and experience within the industry to tailor the session to you and your individual goals and needs.
My teaching can be for any level or age - whether this is preparing for GCSE'S, LAMDA exams, drama school auditions or for those who just love the art of acting.
