Duration : Usually 45-50 minutes. - Price : $25.00 - Place : Countryside (60525)I have a completed DMA in composition/theory from UIUC, and have over 30 years of private and in-class teaching experience (live as well as on-line). My students have ranged from middle schoolers to graduate/post-grad. students.
My lesson structure will vary depending on what the focus of the class is. You don't have to discuss transposing intruments in, for example, a series ear-training sessions, for example. But in each instance I try to meet the student "where (s)he is at," and go from there.

As I indicated, I've been giving lessons for over 30 years. It's hard to say exactly how many students I've had, but I think ca. over 200 would be a safe bet.
I've been able to help students who were failing classes end up with close to if not the highest final mark in the course(s) I assisted them with.
