About Liz
I am trained originally as a competitive dancer and then received a dance performance scholarship for college. Subsequently, I danced professionally in NYC, Rochester, and internationally in companies and as a freelancer. I'm also a certified yoga instructor and previously worked as a fitness instructor. I've taught dance on and off for several years to a wide range of ages and levels. Additionally, I studied Dance Movement Therapy and also have my Master's degree in mental health counseling.

Sessions will be based on your goals as a student, but will likely be a mixture of instruction, conditioning, and fun! Warming up the body, feeling embodied and confident, learning steps and combinations, practice, and play. I like to work intuitively and tailor sessions to the learning style and objectives of the student.
