I have a practical approach to my teaching. In my opinion students should be able to deploy whatever they learn in their everyday life. I will be giving productive activities to my students to complete based on which they will be evaluated throughout their learning journey.
I am an avid learner and engineer with vast experience with various Languages (Python, C++, SQL, HTML and so on), Computer Hardware and Assembly. I have been training students locally for quite a while and they all have achieved amazing results.

• Project I – Sleep Shift Scheduling Tool
Abstract:- An intelligent application that helps astronauts with sleep scheduling, nutrition and exercise.
Team:- Peripheral Plutarch
Roles and Responsibilities:- Taking up the task on short notice, We designed an application that will help astronauts in space keep track of their sleep, health and nutrition. I performed a complete analysis on the dataset provided by NASA to derive the essential parameters. Based on my research we designed a preliminary web application. Then we ported the web app into an android app using Android SDK. We cross checked the parameters and submitted after finalization. I wanted the application to be as light as possible so that we can port them to smart watches in the future.
Result:- The application was successfully submitted for the 2020 Nasa Space Apps challenge where we won the National Level and have been nominated for the Global Level.

• Project II – Medical Assistant Robot
Abstract:- A robotic device with multiple stage access control and methods of screening.
Roles and Responsibilities:- I was approached by my college at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic to work as the lead programmer. Met and discussed about the possible modes of transmission of COVID 19 with the veteran professionals from the medical industry. Using the Pareto principle we determined the major factors that contribute to the spread of COVID-19 virus. Based on previous discussions and Pareto analysis the initial block diagram was created. The block diagram included the sensory instruments for detection and micro-computers to process the data. The proposal was submitted to the expert panel and was approved. Under my leadership a team of programmers was formed. The team was responsible for designing a mask detection model and a chat-bot based on the aforementioned questionnaire, the coding was done on micro-computers using python programming language. Using a tensorflow model and open-cv for viewfinder generation the code was compiled.
Result:- The robot detected whether the person in front is wearing a mask, measured their temperature, questioned them, collected the responses and stored the data in the cloud successfully.

• Project III – Material Classifying Hexa-Tron Robot
Abstract:- A wirelessly controlled robot that classifies the type of materials and gives a visual feedback to the user. A creation that will be useful to the defence department of our country.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Acting as the leader, using python coding in the raspbian environment with a tensorflow model, a robot that classifies materials as metals, plastics, rubber and so on based on a dataset of 2000 images for each material was designed. The different parts of the robot were designed in CAD and then a CNC router was used to cut out the parts from acrylic sheets.
Result:- A robot with a superior axis of freedom was created. The robot successfully classified the materials displayed in front as metals, plastics, rubber, etc.
• Project IV – Smart Assistant
Abstract:- A personal assistant system to serve the differently abled people of the society.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Using TTS engine and AWS api, a virtual assistant for the differently abled people of the society was designed.
Result:- The smart assistant system successfully communicated with the with the user and performed the tasks requested. The project was sent to the National Science Day project competition organised by the Indian Science Congress Association and was awarded the best project award
Internship – SAMEER
Successfully completed an Internship in the RF Technology Development Department of SAMEER – Centre for Electromagnetics, Chennai under the guidance of Shri. V Mantharachalam (Scientist –E). I was initially trained on RF instrumentation such as Spectrum Analysers, Dual Directional Couplers, Oscilloscopes and RF power meters and then designed a RF Power Amplifier to increase the strength of an RF signal in the custom Design and Fabrication software of SAMEER.
• Successfully completed and certified “Foundations of Data Science” from PADHAI conducted by professors from Indian Institute of Technology – Madras.
• Successfully completed “Introduction to Data Science”, “Data Science Tools”, “Data Science Methodology” and “Big Data 101” From Cognitive Class by IBM with perfect score.
• IBM Certified Analyst – > C2090 – 930 IBM SPSS MODELER VERSION 18(V3).
