About Adam
I am currently a third-year Political Science and Economics undergraduate student. I spend most of my time reviewing, discussing, and researching on essay papers, which has allowed me to understand where student's may struggle as AI has been a commonly reliant tool, especially when it comes to being unique and creative. I have a strong passion for helping others reach their long-term academic goals.
I am a Canadian born tutor with a strong foundation in English language instruction and the social sciences, specializing in helping non-native speakers and to build the skills needed for academic and professional success.
I have personally gone through the struggles of writing essays, researching, and putting together ideas that allow for a great research paper or just a general essay. This has allowed me to identify the struggle and weak points in which many students often find similar struggles as well.
AI learning has rapidly evolved over time, and has became a reliant tool within a student's academic learning and capabilities. I found that this hinders their short term cognitive learning memory, and limits them from developing the necessary skills to fully create an astonishing paper or just skills that are extremely demanding in the job market in Canada.
I am committed to creating a supportive, engaging learning environment by helping students look beyond their reliance on AI. I strive to help students gain confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and achieve measurable progress in both English proficiency and academic coursework. I will be there for you to help you learn how to critically develop your own arguments, positions, external research, and lecture based knowledge.

I provide support by teaching English to non-English speakers, with a focus on reading, writing, and clear communication by instructing on sentence structures, linguistic phrases, sounds, and the oral communication that the English language adopts.
My teaching methodology uses simple explanations by breaking down each topic and lesson using vocabulary support, guided practice questions, and step-by-step scaffolding.
I also teach Political Science courses which help students that want to learn how to critically think, have aspiring goals for graduate or law school, and to learn theories, critical structures, politics, international relations, and essay overviews to support academic progress.
A typical lesson plan includes: 1. A quick warm-up. 2. Key vocabulary by reviewing what we went over prior. 3. Main concept of the new lesson. 4. Quick break. 5. Practice Questions 6. Feedback and conclusion of the lesson.
I stand out for my ability to critically assess political situations, outcomes, theories, and rationalizations. I am able to critically break down complex subjects in a clear and understandable manner. I focus mainly on building confidence to help aid in their adaptation, and to confidently apply their skills in the real world.
My lessons are for non-English speakers, high school or university students, international learners, and adults improving academic or professional English.

I’ve known Adam for a while now, and I can confidently say he’s one of the most patient and kind people I’ve met. He genuinely cares about helping others learn and always takes the time to explain things clearly and calmly. I remember one time I was struggling to understand something in English writing and he stayed with me step by step until I fully understood it without ever making me feel embarrassed. He’s supportive, encouraging, and very easy to talk to, which makes learning much less stressful. I truly recommend Adam to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated tutor!!
