About Chelsea

I'm a mixed media artist specializing in epoxy resin collage and contemporary mixed media. My work has been exhibited in galleries, art festivals, and exhibitions, and over the years I've developed both the technical skills and business experience needed to build a successful creative career.

I love helping artists turn curiosity into confidence. Whether you're picking up epoxy resin for the first time or looking to refine your technique, I provide patient, hands-on instruction that makes the process approachable and enjoyable. My lessons focus not only on creating beautiful artwork but also on understanding the materials, avoiding common mistakes, and developing the skills to work independently.

Beyond technique, I'm passionate about mentoring emerging artists who want to share or sell their work. I enjoy teaching the practical side of being a working artist.

Whether you're exploring resin art as a hobby or pursuing it professionally, I'm excited to help you achieve your creative goals.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor

I use a two-pronged teaching approach that combines technical instruction with real-world mentorship.

1. Epoxy Resin Fundamentals
(Hands-on)

Students learn the essential skills needed to work safely and confidently with epoxy resin, including:

Materials and tools

Proper mixing and application techniques

Surface preparation

Safety practices

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

Troubleshooting issues such as bubbles, uneven curing, and surface defects

2. Art Business Mentorship
Career-focused

In addition to the technical side, I help students understand the foundations of building an art business, including:

Pricing artwork

Preparing for art markets and exhibitions

Creating a cohesive body of work

Marketing through social media and online platforms

Developing a professional artistic identity
