About Jason
I am Jason Low, a dedicated full-time educator with over four years of specialized teaching experience. I focus on delivering highly practical, systematic General English lessons designed specifically for group learning environments.
Academic & Professional Credentials:
TEFL Certification – London Teacher Training College (2020): Specialized training in teaching English to second-language learners, ensuring effective curriculum delivery across diverse group levels.
BA in English Education – UTAR (2021): Formal pedagogical training that provides the foundation for my structured, mechanics-driven approach to language acquisition.
MBA (Corporate Governance & Finance) (2023): Equips me with a high level of professional communication expertise, making my classes particularly valuable for adults and working professionals looking to refine their workplace English.
Teaching Focus:
I do not treat General English as casual, unstructured chatting. My group classes are rigorously planned and highly actionable. I specialize in:
Progression-Based Mechanics: Breaking down language rules step-by-step to build a rock-solid foundation before introducing complex structures.
Constructive Group Feedback: Providing direct, precise corrections rather than vague praise, ensuring every participant knows exactly how to improve their spoken and written mechanics.

Many group English classes devolve into unstructured chatting with very little actual learning.
My classes are the exact opposite.
They are rigorously planned, highly systematic, and focused entirely on actionable language mechanics that you can apply immediately in the real world.
Here is what you can expect in my group classroom:
Progression-Based Grammar: We do not rush through the syllabus or mix complex topics prematurely.
We use a strict progression strategy. For example, the class will completely master relative pronouns before we ever introduce reflexive pronouns.
Only when both are mastered individually do we combine them in practice. This ensures a rock-solid foundation for every participant.
Direct, Constructive Feedback: I do not waste class time on forced positive reinforcement or vague conversational fluff.
My feedback to the group is purely constructive. I pinpoint exactly where grammatical or structural errors are occurring, explain why, and provide the exact formulas to fix them immediately.
Targeted Lesson Materials:
My teaching slides are deeply elaborated and highly detailed, occasionally incorporating Simplified Chinese structurally within the slides to ensure absolute clarity for ESL learners.
However, all student exercises and practice drills are strictly English-only to enforce immersion and independent application.
Collaborative Drills:
Group dynamics are utilized for structured drills rather than aimless talking.
We focus on specific communicative goals, ensuring that peer-to-peer practice is guided by strict linguistic rules.
Whether you are an adult learner looking to professionalize your workplace communication or a student building foundational fluency, these group sessions provide a clear, step-by-step blueprint for mastery.

I think Jason is a good tutor it’s because he’s very helpful and kind, he will respond me patiently everytime I met some problem at anytime. Or even when I simply chit chat with him he will correct my grammar mistakes to let my English gets improved.
His teaching method is easy to comprehend. Furthermore, the structure that he provides for essay writing is useful for SPM candidates like me.
Everyone needs a teacher who is up to date with the current generation's sense of humour and what they define as 'fun' and 'boring' to teach us
