About Zaac

I love to teach, it’s a passion and I enjoy watching people progress. I teach guitar and bass and welcome beginner to intermediate students of all ages. I am available to do lessons at my own studio in Darra during weekdays. I am open to teaching any genre, but I mainly play rock, hard rock, thrash, and alternative metal. Some of my favourite bands are Led Zeppelin, Pearl jam, Blind melon, Soundgarden, Alice in chains, Stone temple pilots and Tool.

I started teaching guitar at Benowa state high school in 2018 and then moved on to teaching guitar lessons privately at my home studio in 2019. I specialise in teaching guitar and bass. I have been playing the guitar since 2015, I have been playing the bass guitar since 2017. I have recently completed a Bachelor of Music at QUT (2021), a certificate III in music at TAFE Brisbane (2017), and achieved a VHA10 in music extension at high school (2018). I have learned up to grade four AMEB music theory. And I am currently studying Masters of teaching (secondary) at QUT.

I have been playing in multiple touring/ gigging bands for over five years now, playing locally (Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast) and interstate (QLD, NSW & SA). I believe everyone can progress and become more passionate about music with a bit of guidance :) Whether you’re starting out or just want to become more confident with your instrument, send me a message and we can organise a lesson! About the lesson

After teaching guitar for over 4 years, I have taught students at different levels and ages and have been able to guide them to become better at their instruments.

I typically teach hour lessons, as well as half-hour lessons.

I work on improving students' techniques by helping them play what they want to play easily using correct techniques and eliminating bad habits.

I teach exercises that help improve speed and accuracy, chords and scales and how they work together, and any songs that you would like to learn.

My lessons are for all ages.

$35 - 30 minute lessons
$60 - 1 hour lessons
