I prefer to charge per lesson instead of per hour, though my rates are not much different then the hourly rates listed above. I also offer plenty of more longer term plans all of which assume at least a 3 hour session.

Plans:
Weekly sessions - $380 a month
3 sessions weekly - $1100 a month
6 session a month - $550 a month
12 sessions a month - $1200 a month


Per lesson rates:
1 hour session - $50
3 hour session - $100
5 hour session - $150


Fees and other expenses:
Travel fee - $50
Equipment fee - $10 an hour
Hassle fee - $20

(An equipment fee will be charge in the event that a student needs to use any of my equipment for any reason, this can be because they forgot, lost, or do not have a cable, amp, guitar, tuner, or other required equipment.
A hassle fee with be charged if the student: doesn't want to be there, refuses to listen, refuses to go along with instruction, has no clear drive or desire to learn
