About Conagh
I am a professional musician student studying at BIMM manchester and living in Blackpool. i have 8 years playing experience and 2 years applied guitar teaching experience, having taught both my fellow college students and recommended students. Within a 2 years period my most accomplished student has not only learnt guitar and guitar theory to a live performing standard but has gone on to teach his own students. Having played gigs around the north west at various venues i am well versed in many different genres such as rock, pop, funk, metal, latin and jazz. alongside gigging i also record songs and pieces of music , another aspect of guitar playing that i wish to share with any student

my teaching methods are based purely around the students interests in music, with the first lesson being used both to introduce new players to the instrument and as a way of understanding my students musical interests and influences. as lessons progress students are gradually (student abilities dictate the pace of teaching) introduced to new methods and techniques that will be vital in the student receiving the most from said lesson. at the end of each lesson, my students are given either a technique to practice or a piece of music relevant to the tuition received. For students interested in music on a larger scale, i offer analysis of certain genres or pieces of music to further help my student understand the intricacies of different styles of music and help develop their own understanding

the hourly rates applies to all students 16+ up to intermediate ability. students under 16 or students considered above intermediate may fall under a different rates due to the potential for a much more specific teaching plan, however all students will receive a free 30 minutes lesson regardless of ability
