I am a professional musician and teacher. I have studied music professionally for 8 years, played professionally for 12 years, and have been teaching music at a public school level for 3 years. I have taught hundreds of students on a weekly basis and they have grown into exceptional musicians capable of performing and creating music.

I am experienced in teaching public school General Music K-5. I began college studying Music Education-Choral and Piano and ended up graduating with a Bachelors of Music and Liberal Studies from the University of Memphis. I was classically trained as a pianist and vocalist there. I am capable of teaching piano and vocal pedagogy and stressing the importance of being musically literate and accurate in all studies. I am proficient at spotting strengths and weaknesses in vocal and piano techniques and helping students to find the best ways to perform the songs that they are learning. I am able to suggest music that would help to cultivate the skill of every student regardless of the level that they are on.
