About Nataliya

Being born and grow up in Russia, I've always loved travelling, communicating to people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. However, I understood that knowing just Russian language it would be difficult to communicate effectively and entered a university (department of English Filology).
Mastering English was very hard for me at that time as far as I didn’t have proper language preparation at school and had a lot to catch up to fit the University demand. The first year was harsh for me and though I managed to pass the exams, I was exhausted and had to take a year out to take care of my health and organise my life in a way for me to manage everything from studies to active social life, necessary rest and hobbies.
As soon as I returned to my studies I've become one of the best students, winning English Phonetics contest, became part of University dancing team and winning some regional competitions. I willingly shared my methods of studies with other students and managed to help my friends and myself succeed in mastering English language, history of England, language history, American and British Literature, Stylistics, Linguistics, etc. Me and my friend created a "Success Club" we've been practicing teamwork in preparation for the most difficilt topics and subjects helping each other and others who would ask for our help.
My University years have become my life changing experience that helped me to understand what I'm passionate about and what I'm good at transferring difficulties that had almost killed me into a bouquet of great events, interesting life, bunch of amazing friends and a lot broader scope.
I graduated being a success with my diploma paper about English Grammar in the Internet for different types of writings, it was a very fresh topic to study and I loved working with it. I was offered a job at my University at English Grammar Department as well as at the school where I had been taking my obligatory internship and I chose staying at school with the class I had been entrasted still as an intern. Now-a-days my first school students graduated from the best Universities and at least 3 from my University because they wanted to follow my example. They keep on thanking me for our lessons,the knowledge of English and most importantly for the knowledge of how to learn and manage your life making studies one of the best of its parts.
Basically, this is exactly what I keep on successfully doing now, living in Europe and being a mother of 3 wonderful children.

About the lesson

1. At the very first meeting be ready to clearly form your goals, timing, interests and needs for learning English.
2. Class 2 is my personal level test for 4 types of communication.
3. According to the results of the first 2 classes I prepare personal curriculum for you (decide about the main textbook to use and those of help). Personal curriculum can have some changes during the first month due to shown weeknesses and strengthsas well as your interests and hobbies.
4. At each class we'll be using the 4 types of communication activity (listening, reading, writing and speaking) in the percentage necessary for each student, shown in the curriculum.
5. Each lesson will be made as a presentation with tasks and theory given in it. Presentation of each lesson will be sent to your email together with obligatory and additional home task.
6. Obligatory home task is learning new active vocabulary and grammatical patterns.
7. At the end of each month student prepares his review of the lessons (what they have learnt, which mini-goals accomplished, what was good in the classes and what was missing).
8. Then the first lesson of each month is a free-style lesson that will be dedicated to discussion of favourite: blogues, YouTube Channels, main news, cultural differences, challenges of modern world,healthy life style, mindfulness, relationship, etc. Depending on student's interests.
