About Emily
Hi! My name is Emily, and after graduating from the Urdang Academy and gaining a Level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre, I have been fortunate enough to have worked in many areas of the industry. From film/ TV to theatre, I love nothing more than to share my knowledge and experiences. Now a principal of a theatre school, and LAMDA tutor of 6 years, I have plenty of experience in educating students of all ages. I look forward to meeting you!

Lessons will be tailored to help you or your child develop essential performance skills for both stage and screen. Whether preparing for LAMDA exams or refining on-camera techniques, your sessions will be engaging, practical, and confidence-boosting. What the Lessons Will Cover: LAMDA Acting: Monologues & Duologues – Coaching students on vocal delivery, movement, and emotional connection. Character Development – Helping students explore depth, motivation, and physicality. Text Analysis – Understanding subtext, structure, and performance techniques. Exam Preparation – Working towards LAMDA grade criteria, with structured feedback to help students excel. Improvisation & Devising – Encouraging spontaneity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. TV Acting: Acting for Camera – Teaching students how to adjust performance for different camera angles and framing. Naturalistic Acting – Focusing on subtlety, realism, and authenticity in screen performance. Audition Technique – Preparing students for industry-standard auditions and self-tapes. Script Work – Understanding pacing, dialogue delivery, and screenwriting structure. Technical Awareness – Learning about eye lines, hitting marks, and working with directors and crew. Each lesson will be practical, supportive, and goal-focused, designed to help students build confidence and excel in both stage and screen acting. Whether working towards LAMDA qualifications or industry opportunities, students will gain essential skills, performance confidence, and professional techniques.
