About Duncan
Hi there! My name is Duncan. I am a TEFL-certified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English, specializing in linguistics. The English language is very dear to me and I love teaching it! It can be a fun, albeit frustrating, language to learn, and doing it with the right people can make it such an enjoyable experience. I have an immense passion for working with people and helping them, and it's what drives me to teaching in a patient, supportive and engaging way. I want to make language learning fun and interactive while keeping you at a standard that is acceptable in the working and learning environment.

My methodology revolves around making language learning feel meaningful and useful. Allowing you to engage with the English language in everyday scenarios.
Additionally, my lessons revolve around improving your general use of lexis, grammar, reading and writing, as well as comprehension skills.
You can expect me to be patient and understanding while being goal oriented. You can expect me to meet you where you are, getting an understanding of your skill level and helping you improve on spots that are challenging. I am open to teaching for various learning levels and am able to cater to those different skills effectively.
