About Laurel
Hi! I’m Laurel, a native English speaker, singer, and psychology student currently pursuing my bachelors science degree . I’ve always been passionate about communication, connection, and helping others feel seen and heard. As someone who loves both people and language, tutoring allows me to combine those passions in a meaningful way. I know that learning a new language can be intimidating, which is why I aim to create a space that’s warm, judgment-free, and supportive—more like a conversation between friends than a formal lesson. However, if a formal lesson is what you prefer I am able to do that as well. When I’m not studying or tutoring, you’ll probably find me singing, creating, or deep-diving into something psych-related (I love learning about human behavior and the science behind it.) I truly believe learning should be something you enjoy, not stress over—and that’s the kind of energy I bring into every session. Let’s learn, laugh, and grow together. I’m so excited to meet you and be part of your English journey!

Hi! I’m Laurel— a Canadian English speaker, singer, and psychology undergrad. I know how intimidating it can be to speak a new language, and that’s why I focus on helping learners feel confident, comfortable, and heard.
I’ve worked with people from different backgrounds as a volunteer and understand how important it is to feel supported and not judged. Our sessions will be laid-back, personalized, and centered around real conversation. Whether you’re a beginner, shy speaker, or just need consistent practice, I’m here to help you grow.
As I’m just beginning my journey with online tutoring, my lessons are currently offered at a very affordable rate. I'm excited to support others in their learning while continuing to grow and learn alongside them. I look forward to meeting you soon!
