About Ellah
Hello! I am Ellah! I am a 20 year old Psychology and Counselling student with a lifelong love for reading! I come from a big family with lots of children so I tend to be the go to for homework help! I am fun, caring and bubbly but when it comes to learning I know how to maintain the focus of others whilst being empathetic about the distress it may cause to some. My main goals when tutoring are to help my students progress and begin to love learning. Outside of work, my biggest goal in life is to become a dramatherapist which I am well on the way to doing at university.

I have been a self- employed primary tutor for 6 years. I have an A in English at GCSE level and I started university at 17 years of age. I teach all ages of primary school children. Most of my students have 1-2 hour long lessons a week. In these lessons we cover topics that they are doing in school and may be struggling with as well as work for the year group above them if the child is capable. I take on a range of methods when it comes to tutoring children as I am aware that not all will learn the same. These include visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning methods. I believe that learning should be fun and I encourage all my students to have a growth mindset when it comes to learning and their abilities.
