About Senthuri

It might seem unrelated but when I was in High School I had trouble understanding my Physics teacher's teaching style. She was always focused more on getting ahead of the syllabus. I needed a tutor merely to understand the subject matter. My tutor not only vastly improved my knowledge but also my confidence in the subject that I had previously lacked. So I truly understand
the importance of a good tutor and would love to be a helpful tutor to many students.
I am patient and understanding so we will always work at a pace you are comfortable with. I have no issues going over the material as often as the student needs it. Every student's comfort and needs will be the priority of the lessons.
I have a BA degree majoring in Psychology and Industrial and Organisational. As well as, an honours degree in Psychology. I have a lot of experience guiding and assisting classmates with their work when they need it.
I am open-minded and always willing to listen so discussing the facets of English will be an interesting experience.
English, in terms of creative writing and literature, has long been a passion of mine and I've always performed well in the subject. I want to help others perform well in it too as well as develop a passion for it.

About the lesson

I'm patient and understanding as well as very open-minded. I also tend to like making jokes so that is something a student will have to bear with. Lessons will be according to the pace that the student needs and is comfortable with. As much as studying is important, I believe working in a light-hearted atmosphere is the most conducive environment for successful learning. Therefore lessons will always have an element of fun to them.
While I'm fluent in English, I have basic knowledge of many languages such as Afrikaans, Tamil, Hindi, Spanish, and Korean. I'm also willing to familiarise myself with more languages if it will make your learning experience easier.
I can assist with English studies up to the 12th grade and for Math up to the 10th grade.
Lessons will focus primarily on a student's trouble areas but revision of all work will also be done.
