About George
I'm a friendly and social person who likes to work with all types of people and build strong working relationships. I'm patient with others and like to help people understand a range of subjects and explore different ideas.
Prior to becoming a tutor I worked as a Teaching Assistant in schools and currently work for the NHS.
I have many interests, from keeping up with the news and latest trends to reading more books than I can count, watching films and exploring different cultures. I also like dance music and enjoy going out to different music venues whenever I can.

I take a student-centred approach to teaching, helping to facilitate understanding and consolidation of knowledge. My lessons are typically 1 hour long, and I can meet with students more than once weekly if this is suitable. I have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in schools and have also supported training and development through my work with the NHS. My academic background is primarily in Psychology and Politics, but I am also at an advanced level in English Language and Literature, which has remained an enduring passion and something I hope to share in my teaching. I teach from age 10 and above, including GCSE, A-Level and university students.
