Please email me the topic you'd like help with (e.g., ANOVA, APA formatting, etc.) so I can prepare in advance. It’s also helpful if you can share any relevant school/university materials you’re struggling with — we’ll review these together during our session.
* What I offer:
- Clear explanations of complex concepts
- Essay feedback with constructive, actionable advice
- Help with coursework, statistical analysis, dissertation, and academic writing
* Crash Courses Available!
If you need to prep fast for an upcoming test or exam, I offer intensive crash courses on key topics in Social Psychology, and Statistics tailored to your needs and timeline.

Perfect! Margot is an extremely capable, knowledgeable, and confident tutor. She came to my rescue when I was struggling with my MSc Psychology conversion assignments, providing invaluable guidance and constructive feedback on improving structure, adopting a more scientific writing style, and ensuring compliance with APA 7 referencing. Margot is supportive, patient and flexible in her approach, tailoring her tutoring to meet individual student needs. Her expertise and encouragement have really boosted my confidence and I would highly recommend her.
Perfect! I honestly can’t recommend Margot highly enough as a tutor.
From the very beginning, she was encouraging, flexible, and motivating. I got in contact with Margot at a time when I needed immediate support and Margot wrote straight back to me with a lesson quickly organised.
Margot has such strong knowledge of SPSS and RStudio, but she has an exceptional way of teaching. She explains things in such a clear, calm, and approachable way that even the most complicated topics start to make sense really quickly.
I genuinely didn’t think I would pick up coding on Rstudio as quickly as I did. Bear in mind, I never used it before. The credit goes to Margot and her teaching. The way she breaks things down and supports you step by step makes a huge difference, and I always felt like I could actually understand what I was doing rather than just following instructions. She's a tutor that geniunely wants to support and improve your learning, rather than just getting an assignment done.
More than anything, she really cares. I truly felt that she wanted me to do the best I possibly could, and she consistently went above and beyond to make sure I was supported. She was patient, understanding, and always willing to take the time to help properly, not just quickly go through things.
Her sessions are always well structured, organised, and punctual — exactly what you’d hope for in a tutor. Everything feels thought through and productive, and she creates an environment where you feel comfortable learning and asking questions.
She really supported me at a time when I needed it most, and I will always be grateful for that.
I would 100% recommend her to any student without hesitation. She is an outstanding tutor, and I wish her the very best going forward :)- Sanaa has been a very proactive student and demonstrated great motivation and impressive learning capacity! In a single session she was able to understand R basics while not having any previous coding experience.Margot (Research Assistant, MSc)'s response :

Perfect! Margot is absolutely fab at tutoring in statistics. For me it was Psychology Stats I needed help with. Practically starting from Ground Zero! She was exceptionally patient with me, very clear in her explanations and used lots of real-world examples to make it make sense to my non-mathsy brain :) She is also warm and kind which made me feel encouraged to work hard and be honest when I felt confused. Would definitely recommend!! Thanks again Margot.
- Aisling was a lovely student to work with, she always came motivated to learn during our class :)Margot (Research Assistant, MSc)'s response :

- Reka was a very motivated and brilliant student to tutor! She always gave her best!Margot (Research Assistant, MSc)'s response :
Perfect! I can’t thank Margot enough for all she has taught me. She was very patient and kind when walking me through each step. I feel much more confident about using R and understanding which functions to use, and more importantly why you use them, as well as interpreting the data output. Thank you so much!
- Dakota was very motivated to learn more about R and did amazing at reproducing what I just taught her!Margot (Research Assistant, MSc)'s response :

Margot helped me understand the fundamentals of statistics efficiently, allowing me to grasp concepts easily and catch up with university work. She’s a great tutor, thank you!
Margot has provided me with very constructive feedback for my university assignments, focusing on grammar and phrasing alongside content and assignment structure. This has improved my assignment grades on multiple occasions. Margot also helped me quite alot in providing easy to understand explanations of psychological theory and methods of statistical analysis. Scheduling wise Margot is diligent with time keeping and slots me into her timetable, and i'm always happy that my time with her is secure, recorded and confirmed with her.
She was a fantastic teacher and always motivated me to understand the material in my own way without judgement. She was super patient and passionate about psychology and it really helped me become passionate too. :)
