About Amogelang, Jasmine

hi there :) My name is Jasmine, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology and Counseling, after completing a Higher Certificate at SACAP.

I am someone who genuinely loves learning. I enjoy exploring new ideas, asking questions, and gaining a deeper understanding of both people and the world around us. My passion for Psychology stems from a curiosity about human behavior and a desire to better understand ourselves and others.

My love for learning naturally developed into a love for teaching. I find great fulfillment in sharing knowledge, supporting others through challenges, and helping students discover their own capabilities. There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing a student grow in confidence and realize that they are capable of more than they initially believed.

I believe that education is liberation. It empowers us to think critically, make informed decisions, and create opportunities for ourselves and our communities. For this reason, I am passionate about helping students not only achieve their academic goals but also develop confidence in their ability to learn, grow, and succeed. As a tutor, I strive to be encouraging, patient, and supportive, creating a space where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and reaching their full potential.

About the lesson

As a Psychology and Counselling student and SACAP Higher Certificate graduate, I offer academic support tailored to each student’s individual learning style. I specialise in Psychology, Social Sciences, study skills, essay writing, critical thinking, and assignment preparation. My approach is patient, encouraging, and collaborative. Rather than focusing on memorisation alone, I help students develop a deeper understanding of concepts while building confidence in their academic abilities. During lessons, students can expect a supportive environment where questions are welcomed, difficult topics are broken down into manageable parts, and learning strategies are adapted to their needs and goals. My lessons are suitable for high school learners, first-year university students, and anyone seeking additional support in Psychology, Social Sciences, academic writing, or effective study techniques.
