About Hritika
I am Hritika, a psychology student at Amity University Kolkata, and I take my role as a teacher seriously. My goal is to make psychology clear, approachable and genuinely interesting for my students. I work with school students, college learners and anyone who wants to understand the subject in a structured and confident way. I prepare carefully for every class and I like keeping my sessions organized. I use simple explanations, real examples and step-by-step breakdowns to help students understand concepts that can otherwise feel abstract or overwhelming. I also give regular feedback and small check-ins so students always know where they stand and what they can improve. I believe trust is built through consistency, patience and honesty. I never rush through topics and I encourage students to ask questions whenever something feels confusing. I want my students to feel comfortable, supported and confident during every lesson. Teaching psychology gives me a chance to share something I genuinely enjoy studying. I am committed to being reliable, respectful and professional in all my classes and I always try to create an atmosphere where learning feels steady and motivating.

My teaching style is grounded in clarity, structure and real psychological understanding. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations, because psychology becomes far easier- and far more interesting- when students see why phenomena occur, not just what the textbook says.
I use a mix of techniques depending on the learner: simple analogies for difficult concepts, guided notes for theory-heavy topics, visual breakdowns for processes like memory and perception, and short case examples to connect theory with real behaviour. When needed, I also bring in research findings so students get a sense of how psychology works outside the exam syllabus.
A typical class begins with a quick recap of the previous session, followed by a step-by-step explanation of the day’s topic. We pause often to discuss examples, clarify doubts or apply concepts to practical scenarios. The session ends with a short consolidation—either through a summary, a small problem, or a brief discussion to make sure the idea has “clicked.”
What sets me apart as a teacher is my balance of academic rigour and approachable communication. I make complex theories feel intuitive, I adapt my pace to each student, and I ensure that students understand the reasoning behind every idea rather than memorising it. I’m also patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping students develop confidence in the subject.
My classes are suitable for school students (CBSE, ISC, and other boards), college students at the undergraduate level, and adult learners who want to understand psychology out of curiosity or for professional growth.
