About Sara
I hold a degree in Psychology, having studied the subject for three years at university level, which has given me a strong understanding of how students learn, think, and develop. Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a SEND teaching assistant, where I supported students with a range of additional needs. This experience has helped me develop a patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to teaching.
I have now been teaching English and Psychology for two years at secondary level, building strong subject knowledge alongside effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their full potential. My classroom experience has allowed me to develop engaging, structured lessons tailored to different learning styles and abilities.
I am passionate about creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident, supported, and motivated to succeed. My background in Psychology, combined with my SEND experience and teaching practice, enables me to build strong relationships with students and adapt my approach to suit their individual needs.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active through walks, gym sessions, Pilates, and yoga. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends, which helps me maintain a balanced and positive lifestyle that I bring into my teaching.
