About Charlotte
I have worked in schools for 12 years. Originally, I worked in a specialist provision working with children with a range of additional needs. More recently, I work in a secondary school in the Calder Valley which I really enjoy. I teach English which is a subject that I really enjoyed at school. Whilst teaching I have noticed that a lot of students can struggle with English and this means that they don’t necessarily enjoy the subject. I feel that with a little extra support I can help to make the subject a little easier and hopefully improve their enjoyment of the subject.

Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am an English teacher with 12 years experience currently working in a Yorkshire secondary school.
I offer a fully scaffolded tutor program to support the needs of students who may struggle to access the English curriculum.
My approach is friendly and supportive and I value the importance of relationship building, particularly when considering the student who may have barriers to learning. I have worked with students to ensure that they are able to achieve to the best of their abilities from KS3 to KS4.
