About Jessica
I have been a qualified teacher since 2020 and am hugely passionate about inspiring love of reading and writing through teaching.
I am a mum to two young boys who I currently look after at home until they become of school age - however I am dedicated to remaining teaching young people as it truly is something I love doing.

I aim to provide engaging lessons for all students and focus primarily on making subject content relatable to the student.
I deploy a variety of learning methods based on student’s needs; one of the first things I ascertain is the type of learner they are so that I can plan their sessions according to this.
I believe feedback (both written and verbal) is one of the most powerful tools to make progress and am always building this into my sessions.
I’m also very willing to look at school work/independent work and give written feedback outside of tutor sessions.
