Hi, I'm Laura!
I am a qualified teacher of English and earned a first-class honours degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter. I am an avid reader and love to continuously learn myself, an attribute I seek to instil in all of my students.

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic secondary English teacher with a deep-rooted passion for learning, education and helping students to excel. I have experience in tutoring English at all levels and have a keen understanding of how to adapt lessons to the unique strengths of all students. Throughout my career, I have successfully tutored students across all educational stages:
- Primary: Building foundational literacy skills, fostering a love for reading and writing and preparing or entrance exams.
- Key Stage 3: Enhancing comprehension and analysis, grammar, and creative writing abilities.
- GCSE: Preparing students for exam success, focusing on exam techniques and textual analysis.
- A level/IB: Guiding students through complex literary texts, critical theories, and coursework preparation. Preparing students for applications to university.
