About Emma

Teaching English is one of my greatest passions — I love helping students grow their skills and build confidence on their language learning journey. I have a degree in Art and a postgraduate degree in Education, combining creativity with effective teaching methods. With over 7 years of experience, I love helping students of all ages build confidence and improve their English skills. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring nature with my dog, making jewellery, practising yoga (I’m also a qualified yoga instructor!), and travelling. I’ve volunteered as an English teacher in Africa, which was a truly inspiring experience. Before teaching, I worked as a chef, gaining discipline and creativity. Hello! I'm a fully qualified English teacher from the UK with over 7 years of experience in both classroom and online teaching. I hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a TEFL certificate, and I’ve taught students of all ages — from young children taking their first steps in English to adults building fluency for work, travel, or everyday life. I believe in creating a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment, where students feel confident and motivated to make progress — no matter their age or level. Here’s what I offer: ️ English conversation practice to build fluency and confidence Grammar and vocabulary support tailored to your needs Engaging, interactive lessons for children using games and storytelling ️ Pronunciation and accent coaching English for real-life situations: work, travel, or education SEN-friendly and inclusive teaching approach My teaching style is adaptable, student-focused, and results-driven. I bring strong communication skills, specialist training in phonics and SEN, and a passion for helping students succeed. I use a variety of tools and techniques to keep lessons interesting and effective — whether we’re working on pronunciation, sentence structure, or creative speaking tasks.
