I love to teach for various reasons. Essentially, I enjoy supporting students to recognise and reach their potential. With confidence, students find they already possess what they need to succeed. With guidance and reassurance, these skills are uncovered, maintained then built on providing solid foundations for further learning opportunities. Building platforms to become lifelong learners.

To learn successfully students need opportunities to use their new skills and to acknowledge where their learning fits into real-life situations. Tasks are clearly set out to engage each learner and focused questioning is encouraged throughout the lesson. Each lesson will include links for extra learning to take place at the student's leisure.
Teaching students skills to think for themselves provides each student the intelligence to make informed decisions and respond to modern ideas with intelligence and foresight.
My lessons are catered to middle school to the higher school level. Lessons are tailor-made to suit each student.
I have tutored in English for twenty years and have taught both High School and Middle School for 15 years. I hold a BA in English and Media Studies and a Diploma in Education.
