About Inandi

I am a warm, energetic and creative high school teacher with over 10 years of experience, and I truly love working with teenagers.

I have a strong background in drama and the arts, love traveling and new experiences, and I enjoy helping learners grow in confidence, skills and self-belief.

I believe in lifelong learning and I strive for this myself. It is often not the finished painting that makes an impact on your life but rather the journey you took to create it.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach & Lessons

I am a qualified PGCE teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching in the South African school system, working mainly with Senior and FET Phase learners (Grades 7–12). I specialize in English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation, Creative Arts, Dramatic Arts and Visual Art.

My teaching approach is structured, supportive and learner-centered. I believe that students learn best when they feel confident, understood and encouraged, so my lessons focus on building both academic skills and self-confidence.

What makes me unique is my background in drama and creative arts, which allows me to explain concepts in a clear, engaging and practical way. I use a variety of techniques such as discussion, examples, guided practice, and creative activities to help students truly understand their work — not just memorize it.

I am fluent in English and Afrikaans. I can teach and explain concepts comfortably in both languages, which is especially helpful for bilingual learners.

Each lesson is:
• Structured and goal-oriented
• Aligned to the learner’s school curriculum
• Adapted to the learner’s level and specific needs

A typical lesson may include:
• Reviewing schoolwork or difficult concepts
• Explaining content step-by-step in a clear, simple way
• Working through examples, exercises or past exam questions
• Helping with assignments, essays, projects or exam
preparation
• Building study skills, organization and confidence

My aim is always that the learner leaves the lesson understanding the work better, feeling more confident, and knowing exactly what to do next.

Lessons are aimed at Grades 7–12 learners, mainstream school learners and homeschool learners.

Learners who need:
• Extra academic support
• Exam and test preparation
• Help with essays, projects and assignments
• Better understanding of school content
• More confidence in class and assessments

I also have experience supporting learners who need extra structure, patience and encouragement, including learners with attention and confidence challenges.

My listed rate is for online lessons. In-person lessons in Strand, Somerset West and Stellenbosch are available at a higher rate to cover travel.
