About Ivy
I have tutored groups and individuals for over 7 years. There are always individual differences and as such, I choose/mould and present materials suitable for each individual I teach. I always help people that I teach to overcome their fears through motivation, free open thinking etc
I have had practical lessons in teaching Religious studies and English over 8 years. My area of speciality is Religious studies which is a reading subject. Therefore for students to even understand a lesson, I need to take them through a process of English, which I have done all these years

I have a non - judgemental attitude towards work and people. I believe that mistakes are part of life, and therefore always assures students before every lesson that its okay to make mistakes, once you are ready to learn from them. I am a qualified teacher and has taught in over 7 different schools in the UK, including Special Education Schools.
I am very passionate about teaching and therefore strive very much to achieve great results by exhibiting these characteristics such as being patient in all circumstances, being innovative and creative, prioritising work load, able to work well even under pressure etc. Also, I have undertaken a how to listen programme. I am confident enough teaching ages ranging from 11-60. My lessons are simple but innovative and fun. No one day is ever the same. I use some great learning techniques such as pairing, group work, one to one if necessary, teaching people from know to unknown
