About Charlotte
Hello, I’m Charlotte, a qualified primary school teacher with classroom experience teaching children aged 5–11. I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their learning and reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Through my teaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of the primary curriculum across all subjects. I have supported pupils with a wide range of abilities, from those needing extra help to those aiming to achieve greater depth.
I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and adaptable. I understand that every child learns differently, and I always aim to build positive relationships so that children feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to learn.
My goal is not only to improve academic skills, but also to help children enjoy learning and feel more confident in their abilities both inside and outside the classroom.

As a qualified primary school teacher, I bring a calm, structured and encouraging approach to every lesson. I tailor my teaching to each child, recognising that all learners progress differently and benefit from personalised support. My aim is to build both skills and confidence, so children feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of their progress.
I use a combination of proven classroom strategies and engaging activities, including guided reading, targeted phonics support, structured writing tasks, and interactive grammar exercises. Each lesson is adapted to suit individual needs, whether a child needs support catching up, boosting confidence, or extending their abilities.
My lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, which allows enough time to introduce new learning, practise key skills, and review progress without overwhelming the child. I always aim to keep sessions well-paced, positive, and focused.
I have professional classroom experience teaching children aged 5–11 (KS1 and KS2), and I am confident in delivering the national curriculum, including phonics screening and SATs preparation. My lessons are ideal for primary-aged pupils who need extra support in English, as well as those looking to strengthen their reading, writing, and overall literacy skills.

I’m very happy to recommend Charlotte who I’ve worked closely with for the past three years.
During this time, she has shown herself to be kind, reliable, and incredibly hard-working. She is fully committed and always goes the extra mile to support both pupils.
She consistently puts children at the centre of everything she does, making thoughtful decisions that reflect their individual needs and wellbeing. She creates a positive, inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
She also has strong subject knowledge, which comes through clearly in her teaching. Her lessons are well-planned, engaging, and adapted to suit a range of abilities, helping all pupils to make good progress.Charlotte was an incredible role model to me when I first started teaching. From the very beginning, her passion and skill for teaching were clear—she brought energy, care, and purpose into everything she did.
What truly set Charlotte apart was the genuine impact she had on her students. She didn’t just teach; she inspired. She had a remarkable ability to connect with every child, helping them feel seen, supported, and capable. Because of this, she made a real difference in so many children’s lives, both academically and personally.
It’s no surprise that she was always the favourite teacher—the one every student hoped to have. Charlotte’s dedication, warmth, and talent make her an exceptional educator, and anyone who has the chance to work with or learn from her is incredibly lucky.
