About Maxine
Qualified teacher within secondary schools (teaching English) and FE Colleges (teaching TV & Film) working with a wide range of students, including those with SEN. Taught and designed courses that have attained higher than the national average. Previously a TV Producer and Script Developer, so I have always had an affinity with language, whether within the realm of teaching or television!

I design & compile educational resources that are designed to fulfil the top grades, but will also stimulate each student's individual interests and sensibilities, so that they are more likely to engage in the subject, when they see it can be tailored to them. Within each lesson, students will apply their learning to tasks to ensure their knowledge has been embedded. Students will have the opportunity to steer their learning, which is often lacking in school.
