Hi, my name is Martin, and I am a Master's student in Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London. I offer friendly, patient and supportive lessons in English, writing, spelling, reading, and preparation for business school.
My lessons are suitable for students who want to improve their confidence, communication, written work, reading skills, spelling, grammar, essay structure, or academic/business writing. I can also support learners who are preparing for business-related studies and want help understanding how to express their ideas clearly and professionally.
I have experience working with young people through SEN support and exam invigilation, which has helped me develop strong patience, communication, organisation and the ability to explain things calmly. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each learner's needs.
I also have experience communicating with clients online through digital art commissions, where I listen carefully to what people want, understand their goals, and help turn their ideas into a clear final result. This has strengthened my ability to give clear feedback, ask the right questions and support people through a creative learning process.
My teaching style is calm, encouraging and practical. I focus on helping students build confidence step by step, whether they need support with schoolwork, reading, spelling, writing tasks, essays, presentations, or business school preparation.
Lessons can be held online or in London, depending on availability or distance.
