About Teo
I have a degree in Sociology and Global Development Studies from Queen's University. My verbal and communication skills developed by composing and presenting at least 20 oral and written presentations for a variety of university-related academic and extra-curricular activities. I am a volunteer content writer for 2 environmental organizations in Ottawa. These volunteer positions have allowed me to expand my research abilities and become a more versatile, articulate, and insightful writer.

My teaching method feature cooperative learning, differentiating instructions, and teacher-student interaction, and a focus on self-paced learning. I want the online classroom to be a place where each student feels as though they can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and collaborate with me on ideas and inquiries. One of the most commons fears about digital learning is that the lack of face-to-face interaction will be detrimental to learners. I want the learning environment to be connected. For example, including a Q & A session when needed. I aim to teach high school students from grades 10 to 12 and first-year College or University students.
