I have worked in all types of settings, including after school programs through the YMCA, regular classrooms, and even as a tutor for kids in juvenile detention. I know how to adapt a lesson based on a child's interests, and make it fun for them, all while improving their skills.

I have taught several students from all different age groups and backgrounds how to read. I have done this by building a foundation on phonics and customizing lessons for the student to improve little by little. The confidence this has produced in my students is what motivates me to keep going.
