About Carey
I have been in education for 19 years. I started as a high school history teacher, but realized my passion for teaching was in middle school where I taught 6th grade for many years. I recently have moved into the school counselor role where I help many students with personal and social issues that interfere with their education. Confidentiality is a must in this role, and I highly respect my students when they come to me with sensitive issues. I have missed being in the classroom and using my teaching skills, therefore why I would love to tutor and offer some of my expertise!
