About Sophia
I specialize in Reading Intervention for at-risk, on level and advanced students. in Throughout my 10 year teaching experience, I successfully adapted curriculum and differentiated student work to reach all students. I practice center-based learning, balanced literacy, and inquiry based learning. I have been privately tutoring one on one, and in small groups, for several years outside of the classroom. I provide help with homework, schoolwork, projects, and testing. I value ongoing communication with parents and enjoy providing regular feedback. I am looking forward to using my specialty skills in Literacy to further meet your needs! In my free time I enjoy family time, cycling, and of course reading.

I am interested in learning about my students and their preferences, likes, and dislikes.
