About Lisa

I started my teaching career in the mid 90s when reading went from whole language to phonics. I was highly trained by my school district to teach reading and continued training for teaching reading while homeschooling my own three children for 10 years. Now that my children are launched, I have re-entered the teaching world. I love what I do and I bring that love and enthusiasm for learning to your child.

About the lesson

I create fun and engaging lessons! I will give your child strategies and resources you will need to become a better student in any subject. I have accumulated teaching resources for over 20 years and I create lessons that are specialized for your student's needs. I am a very dedicated and adaptive teacher with a whole toolbox of strategies to help learners.

I highly recommend Ms. Lisa as a tutor! She has been amazing with my 8-year-old daughter, helping her make great progress in both reading and math. More importantly, she has built my daughter’s confidence and love for learning.

Lusa is patient, engaging, and truly attentive to my daughter’s needs. Every session is interactive and enjoyable, and my daughter looks forward to every meeting with excitement. Her ability to make learning fun while keeping my daughter focused is truly exceptional. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Lisa is a phenomenal teacher! She breaks down big concepts into smaller, easier-to-handle steps. She is very positive, quick to give good feedback, and helps students apply new material so they will remember it. I worked with her as a professional teacher and have known her for more than 20 years.
