About Emily
I was in the classroom for 6 years. Through my experience working with kindergarteners, I have found what works best for teaching reading. I have experience with teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD. I have completed coursework and training in the science of reading, which explores how we learn to read, as well as coursework and training in Orton Gillingham, which is a structured literacy approach to reading and can teach any learner how to read.

I use a multisensory approach to literacy for any reader. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years and am trained in the Science of Reading and use the Orton Gillingham method of structured literacy to teach any reader. I love laying a solid foundation for reading.
