About Elisha

Hi there! I'm Elisha, I have a lot of fun here with my dog and helping teach our neighborhood kids to read and write. I absolutely love working with kids and their families, and I’m all about building strong one-on-one connections. With my own kiddo and 21 nieces and nephews, I've seen firsthand how fun learning can be when it's personal and engaging. I believe every child deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can truly shine, and I’m excited to help create that space. Whether I'm working with an older or a young learner, I’m here to listen, support, and bring a little extra joy to every step of the journey. About the lesson

Hey there! I’m Elisha, and I’m really passionate about helping kids learn and grow. I’ve got a Bachelor’s degree in business and as a parent/auntie of 21 graduated children I have a solid base in teaching, and I absolutely love working with elementary and junior high students. My goal is to make learning fun and engaging so every session feels like a cool adventure. I believe in a student-centered approach, meaning I focus on each child’s unique way of learning. In our sessions, we'll kick things off by reviewing what we know, dive into new topics through creative hands-on activities and discussions, and wrap up with a fun recap to make sure everything sticks. I strive to create a friendly space where kids feel safe to ask questions and be curious. What sets me apart is my genuine love for teaching kids and my commitment to tailoring lessons just for them. I understand that each child learns in their own way, so I mix things up to match their style. I’m patient, energetic, and always ready to celebrate every win, no matter how small.
