Teaching reading is something that I am extremely passionate about. I love to chose books that relate to the interest of the students I am working with and that represent a wide variety of perspectives. In my lessons, I plan time for independent, small group, and whole group activities. I love to help students make connections to what they are reading and to cultivate a joy from reading in my students.
