About Max
Hello! I'm Max. I'm a recent graduate from London.
After attending Westminster School, I studied Law at UCL (consistently ranked in the top 10 law schools globally).
I graduated this year, and want to help people make the most of their education - whether that be through improving their English, their love of literature or lending a hand when it comes to exams and admissions.
I'm a massive film and theatre nerd, have a lovely dog called Brando, and am (unfortunately for me) a lifelong Fulham FC fan...

I take a discussion based approach in sessions, letting the interests of students guide our focus - learning through the prism of one's interests almost always results in a more fulfilling and useful experience!
I want to work with you, not talk at you, and find that the best way to nurture intelligent students is by having a natural, inquiry-led conversation.
Importantly, learning has to be enjoyable for it to be effective. Tutoring shouldn't be scary. I'm able to provide insight on a range of subjects (though literature and the English language are my strengths), as well as interview prep for schools and universities - having attended Westminster School and then UCL, I know what these top institutions are looking for and can help make applying a much less stressful process!
I'm super flexible with timing, so our sessions can be as long or short as you want! Typically, however, I would suggest an hour as an ideal length for a session.
