About Amia

Who am I? Hey lovely to meet you! My name is Amia, I am 28 years old from London. I’ve been performing since the age of 5. I began assisting my dance teacher at age 15, and by 18 I was working with her teaching my own classes up until she closed the school summer '24. I am now the owner of my own dance & performing arts school: Revive Performance Academy LTD. 🦩I am ARAD qualified. 🦩I am a performing arts graduate from Stella Mann College of Performing Arts. My goal is to help others gain confidence, knowledge, understanding, and self-belief all through the power of movement, as my classes are judgement-free and involve positive advice and tips to aid you along your journey to success whatever that may mean for you.

About the lesson

🫧What I teach: I aim to inspire, helping my students grow, learn and achieve whilst also having fun. 🤍 Lessons in:

Jazz (variety of styles including lyrical & musical theatre)
Contemporary
Musical theatre
Commercial (variety of styles)
Fitness but made fun 🤍
My lessons are for all ages whether you’re 7 or 77! 🪶No experience? No problem! 🫶🏽I offer package deals which benefit both of us! Please message for details. 🪷I do not just teach technique alone, I teach you how to become a professional. This includes everything from having the right mindset and attitude, to how you should enter a room to ensure you are noticed. I teach you how to be an artist. Even if all you want to gain is some extra fitness, I will still help you to stay motivated and show you how to get the best out of your classes. 🦩I’ll always focus on your needs and we can work towards any goal you may have, even if it’s just for a bit of extra exercise, interest in learning something new or you’re looking to better your technique, my promise is to do my best to ensure your success.

Perfect! The expert tuition Amia herself has had down the years, she readily transfers to her own teaching. She has been teaching for many years now and I was fortunate to be the beneficiary of her experience. In spite of my obvious inadequacies, her patience, empathy and joyous encouragement, not only made the lessons enjoyable but did indeed teach me to tap - the point of the exercise after all. Anyone looking to learn the basics and then some will not be disappointed. She is more than willing to put in the hard yards. She really wants you to succeed. Bottom line: money well spent.
