About the lesson

I can teach any level of middle through high school math, or do preparation for college level math (linear alg, vector calculus, etc). My approach when teaching is to explain the concept at hand to the student and then work through practice problems with them. I try to avoid explaining the answers to them and instead allow the student to reason through the problems themselves and answer any questions they have. A typical lesson plan would be to begin with a theoretical discussion of the subject using a textbook and my own knowledge, and then doing practice problems either from the textbook, or if we aren't using a textbook I can also write my own problems.
