About Helena

I am a recent Year 12 Student who studied English, General Maths, Business Management, Studio Art and Advanced Music Performance.
I will share with you my tips and tricks to getting an above 70 ATAR, (or the highest possible marks you can achieve if you’re not in VCE yet)
I graduated with a 74.25 :)) I will be there to guide and help you along the way, and also act as a mentor, as well as a tutor, to help you get through the tougher times in school.

About the lesson

This is a tricky one, as there are many ways I help someone learn. Next year, I begin study to become a secondary school teacher so I will soon have all the professional knowledge to help you along the way.
As of now, back in school I was known for being the go-to person when needing help with work, or even a tough situation.
I will begin with assessing your general knowledge on the topic, getting a glimpse of how well you can apply yourself from the get go.
We’ll then ease into it, identifying any major points you don’t understand just yet, but not go over them immediately.
Once we have everything else sorted, and you understand the majority of the topic, we will then revisit those problem areas and face them head on (it can be scary, I know!)
I will hand you exercises and tasks to do, in order to help you complete the topic to the very best of your ability, but remember, I can only do so much, you have to be able to apply yourself when I can’t be there.
You won’t have to worry about me getting frustrated or antsy either, I’m well known for being compassionate and patient, and will be sure to give you the correct amount of time, within reason of the submit date.
