About Aniyah

Hello! My name is Aniyah, and I deeply enjoy everything that English has to offer, from creative writing and literature to grammar and mechanics. I have gone through a year-long course in teaching and have earned a certification from the program, which helped me to discover different teaching methods and develop stronger instructional skills.

I strive to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building up their confidence, and developing their skills at their own pace. No matter where you need assistance, I tailor my lessons to fit your individual needs and way of learning.

I hope to not only help you to improve, but to help you become a more confident reader, writer, and communicator. I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

As a tutor, I like to adapt my teaching for every student according to their personality, allowing me to make it enjoyable for them, not just another learning session.

A typical lesson plan first involves a brief consultation to observe my students and understand where they need help. Afterwards, the overall subject is broken down into lessons large enough to cover the important things but small enough to not overwhelm them.

I love what I teach, so I hope to channel that enthusiasm into each student in a fun, engaging way that tailors to their needs and the goals they hope to reach.

I can work with any range from K-12, and I am open to feedback as to how I can make each session more beneficial for you!
