About Melenie
I recently graduated from UC Riverside and my goal has always been to work with people who need help understanding math (algebra).
I have been a student for a very long time so I know how hard math can be.
There are a lot of times when it feels like solving a math problem is never ending, so I'm here to make it easy for you and show you all my tips and tricks to being successful!

My teaching methods involve a lot of examples where the student and I will work through and solve together.
When looking through difficult homework problems that they are unable to solve, we can go over plenty of examples where they would undoubtedly be able to solve on their own in no time.
**We always start off with a test just for me to know the basics of the students knowledge and know in which sections the student needs help in.
My lesson plan usually goes like this:
1. Warm up example (usually review from previous section)
2. Listen to any questions the student has
3. Look through some notes corresponding to questions
4. Examples (together)
5. Independent worksheet (if possible)
