About Salim
Salim received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Throughout his Ph.D. years, he has gained extensive experience teaching topics such as programming languages, web development, and database.
In his career, he has led the development of multiple software platforms that are either today made open-source or commercialized. He has extensive experience in topics that he is teaching, including programming languages such as python and Java, databases, web development, back-end development, software engineering, etc.

Salim believes teaching and courses should be fun and allow students to develop their resumes by providing them with the opportunity to gain real-world experiences. When guiding students, he allows them to find the answers by giving them directions and clues while creating a step-wise learning experience that allows students to learn to compartmentalize big problems into easily solvable smaller sections.
