About Samantha
Teaching has always been my passion; helping others to develop their literacy and English levels to further their currency academically, professionally and socially has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my life. I take my role as a teacher very seriously and strive to ensure that my learners' needs always come first. I am very punctual and organised and keeping to lesson times and commitments is an important part of my practice. I am friendly and have a relaxed and jovial approach to delivering lessons so that learning is not only staged and well-planned, but also fun and engaging. My motto is: The more you enjoy yourself, the more you remember.

All of my lessons follow an accelerated learning cycle to ensure retrieval and retention of new skills are a priority. Lessons can follow a 45-minute-1hr time frame where we can explore the learning objectives required in each stage of your learning journey. All lessons will build directly onto the last to ensure continuity and progression. I have 13 years of both classroom and online teaching experience. I am a fully qualified teacher in English Language, GCSE, A-level, and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Master's level. I have an ESOL qualification and am currently studying for my Master's in Education. I have been a SENCo for the last 4 years and create fully inclusive environments and materials for any additional needs or support requirements; particularly for neurodiverse students. Lessons are appropriate for ages 14+ who are working towards an academic goal.
