About Janet

Hey there! I’m Janet, a UNSW Med Student with a passion for teaching. Graduating high school as a School Prefect and Science Captain with a 99.75 ATAR and State Rank in Latin Extension (4th in State). I specialize in tutoring Year 11-12 students Latin (Continuers and Extension), Mathematics (Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2), English (Advanced and Extension) as well as the UCAT. WHY CHOOSE ME AS A TUTOR Since I was young, I was always fascinated in the power of connection in learning. By focusing on understanding core concepts, breaking them down and seeing how they related to each other, I was able to study more efficiently and prioritize key insights. My love for the languages led me to study on a 100% Academic Scholarship at SCEGGS Darlinghurst where I was able to maintain a balance between academics, sports, debating and socializing. After graduating, I shared this philosophy with my students, emphasizing the importance of making connections with their subjects on a deeper level and truly enjoying the process of learning.
